While specifics were cloudy at the time of this report, a team source has confirmed to the Daily News that Union midfielder Keon Daniel will miss tomorrow's match against Portland (7:30 p.m., The Comcast Network).

Earlier in the day, another source revealed that Daniel — who missed Wednesday's match against New England due to international responsibilities for Trinidad and Tobago — is currently dealing with immigration issues. It was said to be centered around Daniel's work permits and visa. While team officials would not confirm or deny the claim, one team source said simply Daniel will "not be available for tomorrow's match. We are working to examine and resolve the issues, and hope to have a prompt solution."

Daniel, 24, was acquired by the Union this preseason from the Puerto Rico Islanders of USL Pro. He has a goal and two assists in 18 matches played (nine starts) this season. Daniel, who earned his first international cap last week, scored for T&T in a 2-0 win over Barbados, securing T&T a second round spot in CONCACAF qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
