What I Do
I am the senior editor for commentary, director of Sunday Opinion, a member of The Inquirer Editorial Board, and a columnist writing about politics, religion, and culture from a Latina perspective.
My Background
Before joining The Inquirer, I worked as editor and managing editor for a number of Philadelphia media brands, including NBC Philadelphia, Technical.ly, Al Día News, and the Catholic Standard & Times.
I'm a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College; a 25-year resident of Chester County; and the author of numerous short stories, a novel, "Ink" (Rosarium Publishing), and the nonfiction book “Nuestra América: 30 Inspiring Latinas/Latinos Who Have Shaped the United States" (Running Press Kids and the Smithsonian).
