Report: Former St. Joe’s guard Deuce Jones enters transfer portal
A guard, Jones played 10 games for the Hawks this season before leaving the team. He also played one season for La Salle.

Former St. Joseph’s guard Deuce Jones is entering the transfer portal, according to a report by On3.com.
The Trenton native played 10 games for the Hawks before leaving the team on Dec. 23. Jones averaged 15.8 points. He had a 17-point outing against Temple in the Big 5 Classic on Dec. 6, when he hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to win the game.
His last game for the Hawks was against Syracuse on Dec. 11, when he had 18 points and five assists in a 71-63 loss. The sophomore missed the next games against Delaware State for what was called an illness and against Coastal Carolina for personal reasons.

Before his stint on Hawk Hill, Jones played one season at La Salle under Fran Dunphy, earning Atlantic 10 rookie of the year honors. Jones started 20 games and averaged 12.5 points and 4.2 rebounds, scoring 27 points against St. Joe’s on March 8, 2025.
