Adam Oumiddoch, a four-star prospect, flips commitment to Villanova basketball
Oumiddoch, who is playing in the Overtime Elite league in Atlanta, was previously committed to Big East rival St. John's.

On Wednesday, four-star guard Adam Oumiddoch announced his oral pledge to Villanova on his social media.
Oumiddoch, who plays in the Overtime Elite league in Atlanta, was originally committed to St. John’s, but requested a release from the program on Feb. 10. Villanova was his original final five schools that also included St. John’s, Illinois, LSU, and Oregon.
The New York Post reported that Oumiddoch and St. John could not reach a financial agreement.
Oumiddoch, an Arlington, Va. native, plays for Cold Hearts in Overtime Elite. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged a team-high 28.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists during his senior regular season. He shot 49.8% from the field and 38.6% from beyond the arc.
Oumiddoch is ranked as the No. 60 overall player and No. 14 ranked shooting guard in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals industry rankings.
He is the first 2026 recruit for head coach Kevin Willard and staff.
