Girl, 15, wounded in West Philly shooting

A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot late Thursday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police said.

The teen was outside when she was struck by a bullet in the left buttock in the 5500 block of Vine Street, police said. She was taken by private vehicle to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Police said her assailants were two known men in their late teens or early 20s and they remained at large Thursday evening.
