Report: Eagles to sign former Pro Bowl cornerback Kenny Moore to a one-year, $3 million deal
Moore had 111 starts as a member of the Colts from 2017 to 2025.
The Eagles are adding another veteran, this time to their secondary.
On the same day the team made its reunion with tight end Zach Ertz official, NFL Network reported that the Eagles were expected to sign former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore to a one-year, $3 million contract. The network reported Moore would work at both safety and nickel corner.
Moore, 31, spent nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts (2017-25), with 111 starts in 132 career appearances and a Pro Bowl citation in 2021, when he recorded four of his 21 career interceptions.
Moore has worked sparingly at safety during his NFL career, but the transition could prolong his career and give him a chance to get on the field with the Eagles.
Starting safety Marcus Epps struggled in the Eagles’ Week 2 win over the Titans on Sunday, including getting hurdled by Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor on a big fourth-quarter gain.
If he doesn’t play safety, Moore will join a deep Eagles cornerbacks room that features Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell and Riq Woolen, among others.
Moore started seven games with the Colts in his final season, where he allowed 521 yards on 44 completions. He was released by Indianapolis in May.
