Chef Joey Baldino is the preservationist-in-chief for the classic-but-fading flavors of Italian South Philly. With Bomb Bomb Bar, he has managed to retain the essential character of a down-to-earth neighborhood bar while also making it his own, giving more depth to the seafood and drinks, and infusing it with sustainable new appeal for newcomers and longstanding regulars alike. The prix fixe menu includes clams casino, crab cake, lobster francese, shrimp oreganata, mussels fra diavolo, lobster and shells, Dungeness crab, spaghetti alla carbonara and lots more.
