Settantatré Pasta & Provisions
Though it’s also a cafe and lunch spot with a modest but tasty menu — espresso and pastries in the morning, spicy vodka tomato pie and clam-topped focaccia in the afternoon — this Main Line spot is mainly famous for its pick-up/ship-out gluten-free pasta options made in a facility dedicated to the task. Chef and pasta specialist Matt Gentile takes the mission seriously, working for years with alt-flours to come up with egg noodles that satisfy his wife and business partner Genna Curcio, who was diagnosed with celiac disease late in life. Settantatré is not a full-on restaurant, at least not yet, but paid membership grants you access to twice-weekly dinners along with special-release foods, cooking classes, and events.
