Man, 23, shot and killed in Southwest Philly, police say
A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night in Philadelphia, police said.
A 23-year-old man died Tuesday night after he was shot in the back and chest while on a street in Southwest Philadelphia.
Police said the victim was shot at 6:56 p.m. on the 6000 block of Reinhard Street. Responding officers took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:10. Police on Wednesday identified the victim as Yahmier Torrence, of the 100 block of North Front Street in Old City.
No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered, police said.
