One victim drove himself to Temple University Hospital after being repeatedly shot.
Two separate shootings in the city Monday left one man dead and a second in critical condition after being shot inside his automobile and then driving himself to the hospital, Philadelphia police said.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the back and legs inside his vehicle just before 5 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia. Police said he was able to drive to Temple University Hospital.
Just after 6 p.m., a 36-year-old man was in the area of 17th Street and Pulaski Avenue in Tioga when he was shot in the chest, right side, and left leg, police said. He was transported by medics to Temple and pronounced dead at 7:36.
