President Obama and Sen. Arlen Specter (D.,Pa.) had a one-on-one meeting Thursday in the Oval Office, nearly three weeks after the primary loss that made Specter a lame duck. They met for about 20 minutes, and Specter said he wanted to keep the conversation particulars confidential.
The Morning Call's intrepid Washington correspondent Colby Itkowitz caught up with Specter outside the Senate chamber after a vote. She did not make much headway. If Itkowitz can't get 'em to talk, they really don't want to talk!
