Video Preview: 'Phillies in the Dominican: Raising the Stakes'

Phillies beat writer Matt Gelb and photojournalist David Swanson traveled to the Dominican Republic to chronicle the Phillies' efforts to improve their scouting and development in baseball's most talent-rich nation outside of the United States. It is a place where analytics matter less than a scout's trained eye, and where money, personal relationships and persistence matter most of all.
