A man found the bodies of his wife and son in a Maple Shade apartment  Thursday night, authorities said.

Sasikala Narra, 38, and Anish Narra, 6, had been stabbed multiple times, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said. Police responded around 9 p.m. to the scene at the Fox Meadow Apartments just off Route 73.

No one has been charged, but authorities are investigating the case as homicides.

Detectives walked in and out of the unit Friday as the apartment remained cordoned off by police tape.

"This is scary," said Iesha Zuniga, 26, who has lived in the complex for 17 years. She saw police cars without flashing lights in the complex around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Detectives knocked on doors Friday as they combed for clues. Michael Lewis, 34, who has a 7-year-old son and two daughters, ages 8 and 13, said he was ready to leave the complex.

"I want to get out of here," he said, as he stood behind police tape and a crime scene unit vehicle.
