The Betsy Ross House is tapping into patriotic memories this weekend for its Flag Festival 2009: A Turn of the Century Celebration, commemorating the venue's soirees dating to the early 1900s. Vaudeville-style productions, early-model motor cars, and a finger-wagging Uncle Sam will be among the event's chief attractions. The house also will showcase its newly minted exhibit on Philadelphia baseball, "Play Ball!", which opened last month. The festivities will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Two nights of jazz

The Philadelphia Clef Club is hosting back-to-back evenings of jazz with two shows apiece tonight and Saturday. This evening, the Julian Pressley Trio, headlined by the eponymous sax man, will take the stage at 7 and 10. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. The Charles Fambrough Quartet will descend on the Clef Club Saturday night, with shows at 7 and 10:30. Tickets: $20 for reservations and $25 at the door. The club is located at 736 S. 'Urban Convergence' on Vine

The Asian Arts Initiative and MadeULook Productions are collaborating for Urban Convergence, a multi-artist exhibit curated by Jeff Cylkowski. Cylkowski, who works as a painter, muralist, and hip-hop artist in Brooklyn, will spend the summer as the artist-in-residence at the Asian Arts Initiative. A choir calling

Singing City and Bucks County Choral Society are pooling their energies for two concerts this weekend, 8 tonight at the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia, 123 S. 17th St., and 8 p.m. Saturday at Lenape Middle School, 313 State St., Doylestown. The performances are a precursor to a 10-day concert tour through Brazil beginning in July. Admission for tonight's show is $20; Saturday's tickets are $15 to $18. Mummers strut in the Wildwoods

This weekend, the Mummers will mark the 15th anniversary of their Fancy Brigade Weekend in North Wildwood, beginning tonight with a pub crawl through town. Visitors and Mummers will trek from spot to spot to mark the occasion together. On Saturday, the parade begins at 4:30 p.m. on Second and Old New Jersey Avenues, where the top seven Mummers brigades from the New Year's Day parade in Philadelphia are scheduled to appear.
