Kanye West has had an active couple of weeks, no matter how you slice it. His head, that is, which he dinged (dung?) when he walked into a stop sign during an evening perambulation with his pregnant amourette, Kim Kardashian. A paparazzo snapped a snap of the man-sign interaction, and Kanye ended up ranting in the street. Meantime, his Lamborghini got scraped up, awww, when Kim's gate closed a little too quickly on it as a repair guy delivered it after servicing. Meantime, Kanye has dropped his new album, Yeezus, with dark, twisted new tunes. Meantime, former Kim bf Reggie Bush is now the daddy of baby Briseis, by fiancée Lilit Avagyan. He tells Life & Style mag that no Kardashians have kongratulated him, so he won't be reaching out when Kim has her baby, nya-nya-nya.

Bucks . . . the final frontier . . .

Star Trek Into Darkness boldly went to the top of the box-office charts over the weekend, according to studio estimates. It raked in $70.56 million in its first weekend, more than doubling the $35.18 mils set by previous leader Iron Man 3. That ends Iron Man 3's three-week domination, but it wasn't quite the hoped-for $100 million four-day opening.  The Great Gatsby was in place position, with $23.4 mils. From there, the top 10 really falls off a cliff: (4) Pain and Gain, $3.1 mils; (5) The Croods, $2.75 mils; (6) 42, with $2.73 mils; (7) Oblivion, $2.2 mils; (8) Mud, $2.16 mils; (9) Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, $2.15 mils; and (10) The Big Wedding, $1.1 mils.

We can't make this stuff up . . .

Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez on or off? Or what? They went to see a Cirque du Soleil show at the Mirage in Las Vegas Saturday night, munching M&Ms, aww. Both were scheduled to perform at the Billboard Music Awards show last night. . . . Tanning Mom (Patricia Krentcil) has made a music video. We can't believe we just wrote that. . . . Kelly Rowland and Paula Rubio have signed up to be judges next season on The X Factor. They replace Britney Spears and L.A. Reid. Demi Lovato is returning, as is creator/owner/existential villain Simon "Darth" Cowell. . . . The L.A. Police Department is investigating multiple death threats against Chris Brown, called in to his lawyer Mark Gerago's office. . . . Sharon Osbourne, who has proclaimed to the world she won't reconcile with goofbot husband Ozzy until he proves he's sober, met Double O for lunch in Beverly Hills on Saturday, and then the two met daughter Kelly for a shindy that evening.
