2 stabbed in Center City

Police are investigating after two men were stabbed overnight in Center City.

Philadelphia police said the incident happened on the 900 block of Market Street about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

One victim, a 21-year-old man, was stabbed in his neck. The other, a 45-year-old man, was stabbed in his back and rib cage.

Both were taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition.

A man and woman were taken away in handcuffs but there is no word yet on any possible charges.
