He had fallen off a dock near St. Joseph's University's boathouse on the 2200 block of Kelly Drive in Philadelphia, police said.

A 3-year-old boy who fell into the Schuylkill about noon Saturday and was rescued about 45 minutes later was listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, police said.
The toddler had fallen off the edge of a dock near St. Joseph's University's boathouse, along Kelly Drive, at about 11:55 a.m. His father jumped in, but was unable to find him, police said.
The police Marine Unit found the boy about 45 minutes later, police said.
