Philly man charged in sex assault of South Jersey daycare client

An employee of a South Jersey daycare facility for mentally challenged adults has been charged in the sexual assault of a client.

William Claiborne, 58, worked as a caregiver at the Friends of Cyrus facility in Delanco, Burlington County. Claiborne was attending to a severely challenged female last month when he allegedly had the woman "touch him in an inappropriate sexual manner," said Joel Bewley, spokesman for the county Prosecutor's Office.

Claiborne, of North Philadelphia, was arrested Tuesday in Delanco and sent to the Burlington County Jail on $50,000 bail.
