Despite the cold weather, things heated up in Overbook Park Friday night when two neighbors got into a fight over snow shoveling.
According to police, two neighbors on the 7600 block of Wyndale Street got into a verbal argument just before 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The fight turned physical, and one man, first armed with a boxcutter, allegedly left the street and returned with a handgun.
Once police arrived on the scene, the man returned to his home and barricaded himself in, leading police to activate a SWAT team. After a brief negotiation with police, the 50-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.
No injuries were reported.
