Trump says he offered White House press secretary role to UFC’s Dana White
It was not clear whether White accepted, but he posted on Instagram an image of himself at the White House press secretary lectern with the caption: “On to the next chapter.”

President Donald Trump said Saturday that he had offered the job of White House press secretary to Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White, but it was not immediately clear whether he had accepted.
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
White posted on Instagram an image of himself at the White House press secretary lectern with the caption: “On to the next chapter.” SynthID, which detects whether images are altered with AI, said the image White posted was made or edited with OpenAI.
The White House and UFC did not immediately respond to requests for more details and about whether he had accepted the job.
Trump suggested that White, a longtime supporter who worked with the president to host a UFC fight night at the White House in June, could bring along prominent UFC fighters “even though some are not from our Country.”
“We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left,” Trump wrote. “Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!”
