Let us spray.

Or, rather, get sprayed.

The jets of alabaster froth began shooting forth today at Logan Square, banishing thoughts of frost and winter-gray gloom.

Blossoming cherries and dogwoods were boughing with approval.

The central figures - representing the Wissahickon, the Schuylkill and the Delaware - were once again a slick, sea green.

At the other ends of the Boulevard, LOVE was waiting patiently.

A fresh coat of paint seemed needed to cover the flakes and bare spots at the bottom of JFK Plaza's fountain.

But, apparently remembering what was mist, midday sojourners still sat on the curved stone surrounds - a vale of tiers, where only jackets were shed.
