An 18-year-old man and three teenage boys were wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday night in South Philadelphia, police said.
Just after 8 p.m., police received multiple calls about gunfire in the 2400 block of Moore Street. They found two victims on the sidewalk and took them to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, said Chief Inspector Scott Small. The other victims were taken to the same hospital by private vehicle.
The 18-year-old was shot once in the stomach and listed in critical but stable condition. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the right abdomen and was reported in critical condition. A 14-year-old boy was shot in the left knee and was grazed by a bullet on the right side of his chest. He was reported in stable condition. Another 14-year-old boy was shot in the right foot. He also was in stable condition.
Small said that a nearby surveillance camera recorded a dark-colored sedan driving along Moore with muzzle flashes appearing from the driver's window.
A parked car and several homes also were struck by bullets, Small said.
