HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley was discharged from Harrisburg Hospital about 3 p.m. Tuesday after undergoing medical tests, his spokesman, Chad Saylor, said.
Cawley was admitted to the hospital Monday after becoming dizzy and light-headed while presiding over a state Senate session.
It was determined that Cawley's blood pressure was elevated, and he had an increased heart rate. Saylor said Cawley had been prescribed blood-pressure medication and would continue to be monitored.
Cawley, 44, is expected to work from home over the next few days and resume his schedule by next week. - Inquirer staff
