Philly's Cunningham knocked out in seventh round

Undefeated British boxer Tyson Fury floored the heavyweight with a right hook.

PHILADELPHIA heavyweight Steve "USS" Cunningham was knocked out in the seventh round by rising British boxer Tyson Fury on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

A right hook by the 6-9 Fury stopped Cunningham just 5 seconds before end of the seventh round.

"I was just hunting him down like a deer," Fury said. "I think it was a good performance."

Cunningham, a former IBF cruiserweight titlist, now is 25-6. Cunningham knocked down the 21-0 Fury in the second round with a right hook to the chin. Following the knockdown, Fury began attempting to tie up Cunningham in the ropes.

"I got to talk with my team and see what's going on," Cunningham said after the fight. "I feel like I performed."
