Pictures from the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon

Some 17,000 runners took on the 26.2-mile challenge, cheered on by an estimated 100,000 spectators lining the course to support family, friends, elite runners, and even complete strangers Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025.

The Philadelphia Marathon started in 1994 with 1,500 runners and has grown to become one of the top-10 marathons in the nation. Nearly 37,000 participants take part in all three races over the weekend, including an 8K and half marathon.
