Cristo Rey alumnus Devin Booker is coming home.

After one season at George Mason, Booker will transfer to La Salle, the team announced Monday. The 6-foot-4 guard put together an impressive career at Cristo Rey High, earning all-state selection three times. He also took home Penn-Jersey Athletic Association player of the year honors after his junior and senior seasons. During his senior year with the Blue Pride, he averaged 24.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.6 steals.

Booker was ranked as Pennsylvania’s sixth-best player in the 2025 class, but saw limited playing time during his freshman campaign at George Mason, averaging 1.8 points in 8.3 minutes across 25 games. He logged a career-high nine points in 22 minutes in a loss to St. Joseph’s on Feb. 25.

The addition of Booker was announced alongside two more signings for the Explorers. Coach Darris Nichols also brought in 6-foot-8 Croatian forward Vice Zanki and Stephen F. Austin transfer guard Kam Burton. In March, the team announced that leading scorer Rob Dockery would be returning to the team after initially entering his name in the transfer portal.

La Salle finished 9-23 in Nichols’ first season and tied for 11th in the Atlantic 10.
