Philly, there is a scandal afoot in City Hall. Imagine collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in retirement funds... and then saying, “Just kidding… I’m coming back to work.” But, you keep the money. Well that's basically what's happening at Philadelphia City Hall. Councilmember Curtis Jones Jr. is planning to collect roughly $350,000 through DROP, the city's Deferred Retirement Option Plan. The catch? He's not actually planning to leave City Council. And that's only half the story. His wife, City Representative Jazelle Jones, already did something similar.
