For Greg Thomson, Philly Youth Basketball’s director of skilled building trades, the Alan Horwitz Sixth Man Center is basketball heaven: 100,000 square feet, seven courts, a yoga studio, gym, and a cafe that makes some of the best buffalo wings and baked mac 'n' cheese. Thomson is an avid basketball fan and play pick-up after work with friends regularly, but what keeps him coming back is the sense of community he’s found at the Sixth Man Center.
