Check this out: Eric Esposito made this game-winning miracle shot as Holy Family beat Jefferson, 83-81, on Saturday.

Holy Family had to go full court in 0.4 seconds.

Jake McGonigle, a walk-on freshmen from Wildwood Catholic, threw the pass.

Esposito finished with a game-high 21 points, and McGonigle had 5. With 10 seconds to play, Jefferson took an 81-80 lead on a layup by Kylan Guerra. Holy Family then turned the ball over. Jefferson missed a free throw, but Holy Family’s Branden Aughburns got the defensive rebound.

Then visiting Holy Family called timeout, and coach Ryan Haigh turned the game over to McGonigle and Esposito.

The game was played at Jefferson’s Gallagher Center in front of an announced crowd of 226.

Esposito is a 6-foot-7, 225-pound sophomore.
