Body found on Central Bucks West practice field, school officials say
The Doylestown campus is secure and police are investigating, school officials said. They did not identify the deceased.
A corpse was discovered on a Central Bucks West High School practice field on Wednesday night, school officials said.
The body was discovered by police on Pettine Field, near the edge of the Doylestown school’s campus, they said.
Officials did not provide information about identity, gender, or age of the deceased. Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Interim superintendent Charles Malone and principal Lyndell Davis said in a joint statement that there was no threat to the safety of students or staff.
The school campus is secure and police are investigating, the statement said.
