At least 2 people shot in Chester, including suspected gunman shot by police
Gunfire erupted around 9 p.m. at East Ninth and Walnut Streets.

Police said an officer in Chester shot a suspected gunman Wednesday night at a shooting scene where at least one shooting victim was found.
Around 9 p.m., police responded to a report of a man chasing a woman at East Ninth and Walnut Streets.
An officer arriving at the scene reported that shots were being fired and there was one person down, police said.
The officer then confronted a man with a gun and shot him, police said.
Police said there were possibly two shooting victims and that the alleged gunman had been shot by the officer.
Ambulances were called for the victims and for the suspect.
No other details were immediately available.
