Montco Realtor charged with possessing child porn
Albert Stroble, of Lower Providence Township, formerly worked as a collegiate tennis coach.

A 48-year-old real estate agent in Montgomery County who formerly worked as a collegiate tennis coach has been charged with possessing child pornography, authorities said Thursday.
Albert Stroble, of Lower Providence Township, was released Wednesday after posting 10% of $300,000 bail, court records show. He was charged with 150 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material and one count of criminal use of a communications facility. His next court date is scheduled for April 28.
Investigators with the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and Lower Providence Township Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a child pornography video uploaded to a Dropbox account later linked allegedly to Stroble.
The video allegedly included sexual activity involving a girl believed to be around 8 to 10 years old, said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Lower Providence Township Police Chief Michael Jackson in a news release Thursday.
Two other sexual videos involving underage girls were allegedly found in the Dropbox account, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
In March, a search warrant was executed at Stroble’s home and multiple electronic devices were seized, including a laptop computer allegedly used by Stroble in the Dropbox upload.
Stroble was a tennis coach at Chestnut Hill College until the mid-2010s, when he reportedly left to spend more time on his real estate career.
“Chestnut Hill College is aware of media reports regarding criminal charges filed against Albert Stroble, a former assistant tennis coach,” the college said in an emailed statement.
“It is important to clarify that Mr. Stroble has not been employed by Chestnut Hill College since 2016 and has no current role with the institution,” the college said.
Arthur Donato Jr., Stroble’s lawyer, said in a statement: “We are looking at the matter and doing a parallel investigation and beyond that it would be inappropriate for me to comment further.”
