The Eagles moved from a position of prime real estate in this year’s NFL draft to the 12th overall pick by trading the No. 6 pick to the Dolphins last Friday.

In the immediate, the trade certainly establishes second-year quarterback Jalen Hurts as the starting quarterback this upcoming season. In the long-term, will the rebuilding efforts prove successful? There’s reason to be cautiously optimistic if Howie Roseman’s recent track record is any indication.
