Flying Monkey Bakery

Bakery$

Flying Monkey is known for their pies because owner/baker Elizabeth Halen doesn’t take shortcuts. At her longtime spot in Reading Terminal Market, as well as her newer wholesale and catering kitchen in Chadds Ford, every crust is rolled by hand and made from scratch using real butter. And if there’s graham cracker in the crust — as with the key lime pie, the s’mores pie, etc. —  they bake that in-house too. And of course they’ve got cupcakes, buttercake, brownies and bars, too.
