The 76ers' newest star is in town Tuesday for his introductory press conference.

Swingman Jimmy Butler spoke to the media at 11 a.m.

You can watch a rebroadcast and hear what Sixers co-managing partner Josh Harris, GM Elton Brand and Butler said, along with fellow new Sixer Justin Patton, at the link below.

On Saturday, the Sixers acquired Butler from Minnesota along with Justin Patton in exchange for Dario Saric, Robert Covington and Jerryd Bayless, as well as a 2022 second-round pick.

Butler is expected to make his debut with the team on Wednesday, when the Sixers face Orlando on the road.

Prior to the press conference the Sixers unveiled Butler’s No. 23 jersey in the “City Edition” style. Butler and the rest of the team will be wearing the gray uniforms during Butler’s Wells Fargo Center debut this Friday against the Jazz.

Butler told the media he didn’t show up in a suit because it didn’t arrive in time -- emphasizing his point that it’s been a whirlwind of a week for the 29-year-old.

The Sixers pulled out all stops for their new star, including these custom doughnuts.

And after the press conference, Butler threw on his new gray jersey for a few photos. The Texas native’s love of country music is well-documented -- he mentioned it in his press conference again on Tuesday.
