2 people are fatally struck by a freight train in Harrowgate
A man and woman were on a bridge above Kensington Avenue when they were hit by a Conrail train, police said.
A man and a woman were killed when they were struck by a Conrail freight train Tuesday night in the city’s Harrowgate section, police said.
Around 7:20 p.m., police responded to the area of Kensington Avenue and Pacific Street and found that a man and woman had been hit on a rail bridge above Kensington, police said.
The pair, who were both unidentified, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was under investigation.
