2 men killed in separate shootings in Philly
The shootings happened in Kensington and Southwest Philadelphia, police said.
Two men were killed in separate shootings Friday night in Southwest Philadelphia and in the city’s Kensington section, police said.
Around 8:40 p.m., a 34-year-old man was outside on the 6400 block of Greenway Avenue when he was shot several times. He was transported by responding police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:52.
Around 6:10 p.m., a 30-year-old man was outside on the 200 block of East Ontario Street when he was shot in the neck.
He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:37.
Police reported no arrests in either case.
