Eagles tight end James Casey underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his right knee earlier this week and will miss the remainder of organized team activities. The recovery is usually only a few weeks, so Casey should be back in time for training camp this summer.
On his Twitter account, Casey wrote, "I had a minor scope done on my right knee. I'll be back to full speed in two weeks. Better to get it taken care of now"
Casey signed a three-year, $14.6-million contract in March. He's expected to bring versatility to the Eagles offense, able to play tight end, fullback, and slot receiver.
