How many Phillies parades will snow removal cost this year?

Another winter, another blizzard.

This being a blog about the city budget, we thought we'd turn your attention from making snowmen and shoveling out your cars to the fiscal impact of this storm.

After all, though it hasn't been given any ridiculous names — snowmageddon, anyone? — it's still going to cost money to clean up.

We don't have an exact cleanup cost yet, but take a look at a post we put up comparing the cost of last year's trifecta of blizzards with the cost of providing various city services.

Though we probably won't be able to pay for the cost of 10 Phillies parades with what we spend on snow removal this year, at the rate we're going we might at least get one parade.
