Reports: Spike TV will not renew deal with TNA Wrestling

The relationship between TNA Wrestling and Spike TV is soon coming to an end, according to WrestleZone.com and TMZ.

TMZ cites multiple sources "with direct knowledge of the deal" that Spike TV informed TNA president Dixie Carter that the network was not going to renew its television deal with the promotion, which would leave TNA Wrestling's flagship show Impact Wrestling without a home.

According to TMZ, Spike TV wanted to inform TNA Wrestling now so that it could have enough to find a new television partner.

TNA Wrestling's current agreement with Spike TV ends in October. TNA Wrestling debuted on Spike TV back in 2005, first as a weekly one-hour show on Saturdays before expanding to two hours on Thursdays.
