Samoa Joe, TNA Wrestling agree to part ways

Samoa Joe's near decade-long tenure with TNA Wrestling has come to an end.

The former TNA World Champion announced via Twitter Tuesday that he has parted ways with the company and wished it the "very best moving forward."

John Gaburick, the Executive Vice President of TNA, said on Twitter that Samoa Joe's contract expired and that the two sides mutually and amicably agreed to part ways.

After a very successful run with Ring of Honor and other various promotions around the world, Samoa Joe debuted in TNA in 2005 and found immediate success.

His hard-nosed, no-nonsense style garnered him popularity amongst fans and numerous championship titles, including five X Division and one TNA World Heavyweight title reigns.

His most recent role in TNA was as a member of the Beat Down Clan.
