American to expand Internet access to more planes
American Airlines today said it would expand its experimental in-flight Gogo Internet access service to 300 more planes in its fleet over the next two years. The flying WiFi hot spots will be available by the end of 2010 on the airline's MD-80 and 737-800jets.
