Morrissey, the former leader of beloved 1980s British band the Smiths, is known for his mordant wit, virulent vegetarianism, and contrarian statements seemingly designed to aggravate as many people as possible (he recently spoke out in support of accused sexual harasser Kevin Spacey).

He's also acquired a reputation for canceling shows, which he does so frequently it's become a guessing game as to whether the 58-year-old singer will show up for his gigs.

Monday night at the Fillmore, he won't. It was announced Monday afternoon that the Mozz's show in support of his new album Low in High School had been postponed. The reason given is "illness in the touring party."

It's unclear whether the sick individual is Morrissey himself, who last month canceled a California show due to a malfunction in a Paso Robles venue heating system, bringing the number of shows he has canceled to 124 since 2012, according to Consequence of Sound.
