Pediatric primary care center

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia will occupy the top floor. Its 22,000-square-foot clinic expects 35,000 patient visits a year. It outgrew its old space several blocks away.

City Health Center No. 2

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health's primary-care center (and dental suite) will use the second floor's 29,500 square feet and expects more than 50,000 patient visits a year, mostly adults.

South Philadelphia Library

The Free Library of Philadelphia branch has nearly 12,000 square feet on the first floor for more than 150,000 customer visits a year. A special health section will help people manage their well-being, and the branch will provide literacy classes for children and adults, free WiFi, computers, and computer classes. It will open soon.

DiSilvestro Playground and Rec Center

The indoor/outdoor space with playground, basketball court, and rain garden will open in June. (The old rec center, library, and city health center were all demolished for the new construction on the same site.)EndText
