The woman killed in a crash in Cherry Hill during Tuesday's snowfall was a mother of four and a legal secretary at Dilworth Paxson L.L.P., where her coworkers mourned Wednesday.

They identified her as Denise Pence, 52, of Winslow, and said she had three sons and a daughter.

"Denise was a vital part of our organization for almost four years," Frank Tedesco, managing partner at the Cherry Hill office, where Pence worked, said Wednesday in a statement. "She was very conscientious and kind, and will be missed. We send our sincerest sympathies to her family and friends, especially her husband and children."

The accident occurred around 8:40 a.m. on Haddonfield-Berlin Road near Morris Drive. Pence lost control of her vehicle, which then collided with a van in the southbound lanes, police said. Another vehicle then struck the back of the van.

The drivers of that vehicle and the van had minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital, police said.

Pence's family could not be reached.
