When the Flyers pick No. 11 in the first round of the June 30 NHL draft, here are some players who may be available:

Darnell Nurse, D, 6-foot-4, 195 pounds

He plays an aggressive, gritty style and models his game after Chris Pronger and Shea Weber. His offense is improving.

Rasmus Ristolainen, D, 6-2, 189

The righthanded-shooting Finn plays with a nasty edge; he is regarded as a solid two-way defenseman and would be a nice consolation prize if Nurse is gone.

Ryan Pulock, D, 6-1, 211

While Nurse is known more for his shutdown qualities, the righthanded-shooting Pulock brings lots of offense from the back end.

Hunter Shinkaruk, C/LW, 5-11, 175

A smart two-way player with great hands, he had 37 goals and 86 points in 64 WHL games.

Frederik Gauthier, C, 6-4, 219

Gauthier is a strong and cerebral two-way player who seems to have a knack for being in the right spot, on offense and defense.

Sean Monahan, C, 6-2, 193

He would be a steal if he somehow slipped to No. 11. Viewed as a future top-liner, Monahan had 31 goals and 78 points in 58 OHL games.

Nikita Zadorov, D, 6-5, 228

He moves surprisingly well for his size and will be an intimidating player on defense; he was plus-33 in 63 games with the OHL's London Knights.
