Our colleague Kate Fagan wrote on her blog Thursday about a potential complicated blockbuster trade that would bring Carmelo Anthony to Philadelphia and send Andre Iguodala and possibly Evan Turner to parts unknown. The Nuggets have offered Anthony a three-year, $65 million contract extension that he hasn't signed yet. Ms. Fagan said that it's highly unlikely the Sixers will end up with Anthony, but if they did, would you be in favor of it?

No offense to Kate, but I'm guessing that trade has as much chance of happening as the Eagles have of winning the NFC East this year. If it is a real possibility, then yes, by all means make it before the Nuggets come to their senses.

One team's trash is another team's treasure. That's the way it works. Of course, Anthony apparently has listed four teams for whom he'd like to lend his services. Shockingly, Miami is on the list, and the Sixers are not. Go figure.
