SALT LAKE CITY — In need of an extra body, the 76ers will recall Furkan Korkmaz from the Delaware 87ers following Tuesday night's NBA G League game against the Westchester Knicks. The Sixers assigned the rookie guard to the Sevens on Friday night.

The Sixers will face the Utah Jazz at the Vivint Smart Home Arena on Tuesday. They will travel to Sacramento following the game for the second leg of their five-game, 10-day road trip. The Kings will face the Sixers Thursday night at the Golden 1 Center.

It's unclear if Korkmaz will arrive in California in time for Wednesday's practice.

However, the Sixers would welcome his presence. Jerryd Bayless is out indefinitely with a bruised left wrist.

Tuesday marked the second consecutive day the Sevens faced Westchester. In Monday's 113-111 loss, Korkmaz had 17 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three turnovers in 36 minutes.
