Space Pad Project encourages safe distancing at a South Philly ShopRite

Mural Arts Philadelphia hired artists to design spacing decals that encourage ShopRite customers to stand at least six feet apart. On Friday the group installed the decals in four checkout lanes, with plans to return next week for more.

Kate Jacobi, from Mural Arts Philadelphia, and John Coyle, store manager, install spacing decals as a part of the Space Pad Project at the Shop Rite on West Oregon Avenue in South Philadelphia, Pa. on Friday, April 3.
