St. Louis hands St. Joe’s its fifth straight loss, 72-61

Erik Reynolds II scored 17 points to lead four St. Joseph’s players in double figures, but it wasn’t enough in a 72-61 loss to the host St. Louis Billikens on Tuesday night.

It was the fifth straight loss for the Hawks (10-16, 4-11 Atlantic 10). Yuri Collins scored 17 to lead the Billikens (19-9, 10-5).

Taylor Funk was a force on the boards for St. Joe’s, with 14 rebounds to go with 10 points and four assists.

The Hawks return to action Saturday night at home against St. Bonaventure.
